The S-video signal is divided into two distinct components, which is why it is referred to as Separate Video or S-video. To transmit these two component signals, two 75-ohm coaxial cables are utilized. One of the cables transmits the Luma (brightness or Y component), while the other 75-ohm coaxial cable transmits the chroma (color or C component).
The connectors of both ends of the SVideo Cables is Min-DIN 4-pin Male to Min-DIN 4-pin Male, S-video provides a sharper image than composite video.- Double-shielded (foil and braid) construction provides superior protection against EMI/RFI
The S Video Cable is Ideal for your TV's, VCRs, Camcorders, S-VHS video, CCTV, home theater, DSS receivers, satellite receivers, DVD players, instrumentation and computer equipment
PLEASE NOTE: that S-video cable will only transmit video, separate audio cables will be needed.
